Our Masses
Home masses are our trademark. Each one is a unique reflection of the host, while also carrying forward the ancient house church tradition of breaking open word and bread together.
Inclusive. Non-judgemental. Women-led.
Mass - Like Jesus teaches, Sabbath is FOR us, we are not for the Sabbath. Mass is a treasure and a gift, and we are grateful to gather with two or more in God’s name to celebrate and tend to one another and all creation.
Helpful info for first-timers: Mass usually runs about an hour and then we linger for a fun social hour afterwards. Please bring a little snack to share if you're able. Attire is casual and comfortable. Communion is gluten-free. We use an inclusive-language liturgy and the Comprehensive Catholic Lectionary for our readings. We usually have 2-3 musicians. If you'd like to participate in the music ministry, all are welcome! Feel free to invite friends. More=merrier!

What makes our masses special:

Washington
Our work is rooted in the nation’s capital and surrounding region, where we flow like water over marble, doing our thing.

Home
Being in houses offers us a way to build relationships and community, with the independence to practice our prophetic belief in a renewed Catholic priesthood

Inclusive
In addition to celebrating with women priests, our masses feature gender-inclusive language for the Divine. After the readings, our priests offer a brief reflection and invite dialog. All are welcome to the eucharistsic table.

Monthly
Our schedule allows those who choose to remain active in their traditional parish to do so.
